In the final hours before the federal government runs out of money tomorrow, the House is proposing a Continuing Resolution to fund the government until mid-January. This proposal would include a small amount of funding for the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) that would allow the program to operate only until March. That is not enough. We need a long-term commitment to reauthorize and fund CHIP for five years. Take action TODAY and let members of Congress know that children’s healthcare is a top priority in Idaho.
